What are the high prices of graphics cards due to?

It takes approx. 1 minutes to read this article

You don’t have to be a market analyst to see a significant increase in the price of graphics cards. We will pay for them even several times the suggested price.

Of course, if we manage to get one – the stores are currently struggling with a huge shortage of these components. The analysis conducted by 3DCenter shows that for a card from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series, you have to pay three times the MSRP. AMD Radeon RX 6000 series, on the other hand, oscillates around twice the suggested rates

Deficits of cards – where did they come from?

There are several reasons for this state of affairs. Indirectly, it is, among other things, the fault of the COVID-19 pandemic and the worldwide shortage of chips. In addition, of course, there are speculators and the new nemesis of a large part of the players – cryptocurrency miners. Each such digger, also known as a rig, uses multiple graphics cards. The situation is so serious that NVIDIA had to develop a special LHR technology to make their cards unfit for cryptocurrency digging. Time will tell if it will improve the situation.
